The key highlights of the Civil Engineering work include the completion of the preliminary design of the civil engineering works at Point 1 and Point 5 at the end of 2016 by the external Consultants. The Consultants also performed an independent cost estimate for the civil engineering work which falls within the project cost estimates from summer 2016. The next step is the completion of the specification documentation and drawings for the Invitations to Tenders of these civil engineering works. Bids are expected by September-October 2017 and the adjudication of the contracts by March 2018.
